Bmw Evap System Not Ready

I have noticed a fairly new battery in the car.

The output of the catalyst monitor can be either not ready or ready if the output of the monitor is not ready what does that indicates. Thus the catalyst monitor has not tested the catalytic converter. It signifies that the requisite drive cycle has not run completely.

Electrical problems if the computer is losing power when the ignition is turned off blown fuse wiring problem or has an internal computer problem the computers memory is erased and system will be not ready. If all the other monitors are ready then do a couple more cold starts. If the evap monitor still has not passed or set a pending or present code then take your vehicle to a shop that employs technicians who are familiar. Other cooling system problems the system will not run.

So in order to make the status of catalyst monitor ready. As a result your vehicle cannot receive a complete emission test at this time. This is often caused by diconnected caused by or recent repair work. Your vehicle s obd system is not ready to be tested.
