Cut two 2 x 6 pieces of lumber and attach to the face of the wall running from the edge of your garage door jambs to the ceiling of your garage.
Measure the dimensions of the door frame and build a stud wall on the ground to match these dimensions using the 2 by 4 lumber screws and drill.
We know the footings are good enough as it s a 2 storey building.
